struggles in computer apps

Computer apps

I believe that the most difficult part of this class so far was adjusting to the tools and techniques of the new Microsoft office programs. But after reading over my simplified textbook, I was able to understand and become a little more computer efficient. It takes some time but with patience you can accomplish whatever you need to do in your computer application’s class.

music

I think that The Garageband program on the new Mac computers is a great system to use when trying to compose music. This program enables you to use various instruments, anything from strings to percussion. You can also install adapters to allow you to record real life instrumentals. There is something for everyone no matter what your into pop, rock, hip hop, techno.

Personally I’m really into metal, but while using the Garageband program I think I would like to compose a mellow instrumental with some guitar loops, soothing bass line, and some jazz style drums.

                                       SCARED ON THE INTERNET

While I surf the web I am sure to be extremely cautious. I depend on my computer for numerous things that mean a great deal to me. I believe that the computer is a huge necessity when striving to succeed in college, and along with my passion for music all of my audio files on I-tunes are essential as well. Although like everyone else I’ve had a virus. This situation is very irritating, and I wouldn’t wish it upon anyone. I use programs like guitar pro and fruit loops frequently. Well like I said I’ve been there and done that and all I can say is be safe and aware of what you’re doing at all times on the Internet and things should be pretty copasetic. (A) Don’t be a fool; you shouldn’t give any unnecessary information on the web such as your real age or gender, and (B) Don’t visit sites that say anything about “finding your true love if you click the purple duck running across the monitor” that would be pretty ignorant.

Heavytones Audio

Overwhelmed with satisfaction that I have achieved my dream, proudly hung over the mixing board at Heavytones Audio. Never would I picture my name at the top of a major corporation dedicated to the one thing I hoped to one day be a part of. Audio production. My name is John Downey, CEO at Heavytones Audio. Heavytones Audio is a very successful recording company that I have established, and has produced a few of the most leading edge artist in the metal music industry today.
My whole life I have always had an astonishing passion for anything that was related with music. This is the foundation of who I am today. At the age of fourteen I started playing guitar in bands throughout high school and developed an urge to compose and dig myself into the recording process at the side of whoever was producing our demos at the time. I became more and more obsessed with the time and effort it took to devote yourself wholeheartedly into cutting and editing the music that I’d help create. I was so obsessed with composing melodies and indulging myself into majestic euphony I ended up straying away from functioning academically and ended up dropping out of high school at the age of seventeen. Soon enough later my band broke up. I played in a couple of other bands but after watching my friends all graduate I felt so left out that I never found my nitch to succeed.
Then out of nowhere like an answer from the heavens my best friend introduced me to the idea of attending the Art Institute. It was the chance of a life time to finally pull my mind together and succeed. I passed my high school equivalency test, wrote an acceptance essay, and was then on my way to college. It all happened so fast, I think it took about a week to adjust to the surreal feeling. I had never felt so relieved in my life. Almost cinematicly I'm taken back to the steps of the Art Institute. Its orientation and all I can think of is where I'll be after the short three years here. Invoking the best in me I took on the three years and achieved my bachelor’s degree in the physics of sound and audio production.
I was fortunate enough to be able to use my talent to record a local act called BLOW-OUT I ran into at a “hole in the wall” bar down the street from my studio apartment on Center St. I knew there was something new and fresh these guy’s were trying to do and I wanted to be the creative mastermind behind them. Not long after introducing myself they agreed to linking up and recording with me in my fairly spacious apartment. It took four months of ripping apart and putting back together material to finally create the full length CD that not only changed the reputation of metal music and also make me recognized as a master in my filed. Over the night my home studio turned into a franchise. THE VULGAR DISTRESS SOUND released in October of 2020 and sold more than 1,000,000 copies and made BLOW-OUT one of the most idolized and influential band’s in the metal music industry today. I planed relentless tours for the band and in return they demolished arenas all over the world. I still am recording band’s and I will do that for the rest of my life. I live in the studio and breath off of sound. I have fulfilled my destiny and wouldn’t trade it for the world.
