Virus blog

Well as we all know or will soon find out, viruses can really be a major pain. I have had a few difficult times with viruses. I have even once made the mistake of downloading some phony virus protection software and crashing my computer. these little endeavors are pretty much avoidable. Just be sure to be concsious about everything you download off the dirty dirty internet. especially programs like limewire. Lime wire has severely damaged my home computer, but because of my love for music and free downloads I can't seem to prevent myself from downloading. And I'll probobly run my computer into the ground. Only because I have had it for over 5 years now, IT's definately time for a new one. Since my prior issues with viruses I have installed a virus protection system named BitDefender. I highly recomend It's use for any virus issues you may be struggling with. The software Is very dependable and keeps you updated the second there is some sort of malfunction with your computer.

Picasa 3

Today in computer applications we were placed into groups to create the slideshow clip placed underneath my about me. I found today really interesting because Iv'e never worked with the Picasa 3 program before. I was fortunate enough to work with a very entertaining group. the hilarious antics of Sean Felz had me cracking up the majority of the time, and working with Percilla Cabrillo is always a pleasure. The Picasa program
was farly easy to use although the editing options are virtualy endless. Overall it was an easy going experience. I ran into a few minor setbacks while finding the right way to upload my picture file but with the help of a very intelligent classmate it worked out just fine. Also working with the Canon Rebel XSi was great, and after experimenting with the quality of this camera I would recomend it's use for any occasion dealing with photography.

What I think of Twitter

Computer apps.
Well personally the ideals of blogging and posting personal updates of how I feel about certain subjects are fairly new to me. I actually never considered it until I was placed in MR. Pinto’s computer applications class here at the Art Institute of Las Vegas. Before I was pretty ignorant to what blogging could actually benefit me with. So on the subject of “what I think of Twitter.com” I don’t really care to much for gossip and the other unnecessary “junk” posted by John/Jane doe. Although in certain occasion’s I believe it should be considered an essential tool in networking and business exposure. Especially for someone such as myself aspiring to work in the music industry

PC LABS

I am looking forward to start working in the pc labs. To be honest I was completly lost while learning in the mac labs. And with the required text for the class being refered to the pc functions. it was difficult to try to self translate the operations to be compatible with how the mac's run. So hopefully with our class moving to the PC labs next week i will be able to catch up with some of our more advanced student's in my class. I am very eager to achieve this knowledge and suceed and the upcoming weeks.
